MISSION STATEMENT
Morey Gymnastics Center is dedicated to fostering the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our community in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Rooted in the Isabella Community Sportsplex, our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals of all ages can discover the joy of gymnastics. We are committed to promoting teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence through expert coaching and state-of-the-art facilities. Morey Gymnastics Center aims to be a hub for athletic development, instilling a passion for fitness and achievement that extends beyond the gymnasium. We strive to create a positive and inclusive space where the values of sportsmanship and personal growth are celebrated, enriching the lives of our participants and contributing to the vibrant sports culture in our community.
OPEN GYM
Join us for Open Gym! Whether you're perfecting your technique or trying something new, our coaches are on the floor to supervise and assist with skills. It's the perfect opportunity to work at your own pace, get personalized guidance, and have fun in a supportive environment. Come bounce, flip, and improve with us!

PROGRAM OFFERINGS
PRESCHOOL
All preschool classes start and end in our preschool gym, located in the mezzanine. The preschool classes do utilize the main gym during their class,
Busy Babies: 1-2 years old; Parent & Child class
Little Leapers: 2-3 years old; Parent & Child class
Tumble Tots: 3-4 years old
Kartwheel Kids: 4-5 years old
TUMBLING
Beginner Tumbling 1: 6-10 years old
This class is for younger girls and boys just getting started in tumbling. No prior gymnastics or tumbling experience necessary for this class.
Beginner Tumbling 2: 11 years old & up
This class is for older girls and boys just getting started in tumbling. No prior gymnastics or tumbling experience necessary for this class.
Advanced Tumbling: 7 years old & up
This class is for older girls and boys who have prior experience in tumbling, and have completed all of the required Beginner Tumbling skills.
CHEERLEADING
Elementary Cheer: Kindergarten - 5th Grade
This class is for boys and girls who are interested in cheerleading, and are in elementary school. They'll be focusing on jumps, tumbling and stunting. No prior cheerleading experience necessary.
Middle School/High School Cheer: 6th - 12th Grade
This class is for boys and girls who are interested in cheerleading, and are in middle through high school. They'll be focusing on jumps, tumbling and stunting. No prior cheerleading experience necessary.
**Please note - MGC has a $40 yearly family membership fee. This membership fee allows you to register for classes and will get you discounts on open gym sessions, parties, private rentals, clinics and more**
RECREATIONAL
Please note - our classes will be taught in a way that supports each student's progress, regardless of their skill level. Drills and stations can be altered to give students more support, or to challenge the student, if needed.
Beginner Boys 1: 6 years old and up
This class is for boys just getting started in gymnastics. No prior gymnastics experience necessary for this class.
Advanced Boys: 6 years old and up
This class is for boys who have completed the Beginner Boys class, or have had prior gymnastics experience.
Beginner Girls: 5-7 years old
This class is for younger girls just getting started in gymnastics. No prior gymnastics experience necessary for this class.
Beginner Girls 2: 7 years old and up
This class is for older girls just getting started in gymnastics. No prior gymnastics experience necessary for this class.
Intermediate Girls: 7 years old and up
This class is for girls who have completed the Beginner Girls class, or have had prior gymnastics experience. Skills taught in this class may include, but are not limited to, - handstand flatbacks on vault stack, round offs, walkovers, back hip circles on bars, cast to horizontal on bars, handstand dismount on beam, jumps & turns on beam, etc.
Advanced Girls: 7 years old and up
This class is for girls who have completed the Intermediate Girls class, or have had prior gymnastics experience. Skills taught in this class may include, but are not limited to - the introductions of flight in skills, handsprings, saltos, front handsprings over the vault table, front hip circles, squat on to high bar, tap swings on high bar, back walkovers on beam, cartwheels on beam, etc.
PRE-COMPETITION TEAM
Admittance to this team is by invitation or tryout only. It is geared towards preparing female gymnasts for competition during the 2025-2026 season. We will be focusing on perfecting basic skills, learning new skills, routine development and building a competitive mindset.
Private Lessons
Interested in Private Lessons?
We offer 30, 45 or 60 minute private lessons for gymnastics, cheer and tumbling.
These lessons focus on skills that the student chooses.
Prices for private lessons are $30.00 per 30 minute lesson (member pricing), and are for one student only.
Non-member price is $40.00 per 30 minute lesson.

Private Rental Fees:
$100/hr - member pricing, up to 10 participants
$125/hr - non-member pricing, up to 10 participants
**Add $25/hr for 11-20 participants, member & non-member
**Add $50/hr for 21-30 participants, member & non-member
Birthday Party Package
Our party package includes the following:
- Up to 10 participants, additional participants are $20 each
- 2 hours of private facility use (75 minutes of gym time, 45 minutes in the party room)
- Pizza, soda and water for all participants
- Gymnastics medal for the birthday kid
- All paper products, including table covers, provided by Morey Gymnastics Center
- Set up and clean up provided by Morey Gymnastics Center
- You may bring additional decorations and cake & ice cream of your choice
- Liability waiver must be completed and returned for each participant
- $100 deposit due one week before party
- Parties are held on Saturdays from 2-4pm or 5-7pm, and on Sundays from 12-2pm or 3-5pm
