After much anticipation, we proudly welcome back the Kids’ Recreation Resort.  Thank you everyone for being patient!

Want to work out, but need someone to watch your children so you can get back in shape?

Morey Courts offers a Kids’ Recreation Resort!!!

Monday thru Friday only; 8am-noon and 5:00 pm -7:30pm

Children; infants through age 9 are supervised in large muscle activities while Member parents work-out or enjoy one of the ‘court sport’ games!

Rates:

1 child = $3.00 for 1hr. 2 children = $5.00 for 1hr.

1 child=$5.00 for 1 1/2 hrs. 2 children =$7.00 for 1 1/2 hrs.

Reservations are preferred. Please call 989-953-7529 by 8 pm on the day prior to your workout.

Drop-ins are also welcome, but only will be accepted if space is available.

A new and exciting opportunity for your business to reach a large target audience is about to become available in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.  Morey Courts Recreation Center, located in the Isabella Community Sportsplex, adjacent to the ICE Arena, opened its doors in October 2008.

Your participation as a corporate sponsor will place awareness of your products and services in front of thousands of Mount Pleasant Community members as well as thousands of traveling tournament basketball and volleyball teams, and it also helps to ensure the success of this community recreation center.

A huge amount of work has gone into the construction of the new Morey Courts Recreation Center.  But this week saw the arrival of one of the most important parts…the courts themselves.  Workers began preparing the hardwood that will host countless basketball and volleyball games in the future.  With this essential step, the facility is on track to open in October.  We can’t wait to see you there!

It is the mission of Morey Courts Recreation Center to create enjoyment through recreation as the premier sports and fitness facility in Michigan.

Morey Courts Recreation Center will open in the Fall of 2008. The facility will be located in the Isabella Community Sportsplex and will be attached to the Ice Arena. The Isabella Community Sportsplex is located just south of Isabella road at 5175 East Remus Road.

This facility will offer:

• After school programs and health/fitness programs for youth
• Youth and adult recreational and competitive leagues, tournaments and camps
• Clinics and instruction in basketball, volleyball, tennis, racquetball, softball, baseball, golf, soccer and other court sports
• Fitness, aerobics and exercise activities

Morey Courts Recreation Center will have:

• a 9,000 square foot fitness center
• a walking and jogging track
• an aerobics and exercise room
• tennis courts, racquetball courts, basketball/volleyball courts
• an interactive youth exercise room
• conference rooms and full service food and refreshments at the Center Court Cafe

Morey Courts Recreation Center memberships: individual, family, student, and senior memberships will be offered. Daily admissions and court rentals will also be available. Group discounts will be offered.

Morey Courts Recreation Center is operated by a non-profit entity largely funded by private gifts and loans. All revenue after expenses will be used to retire debt. When the debt is completely satisfied, the community will own the facility through the Cultural Recreation Commission (CRC).
