Bob Sherlock- Basketball

Bob Sherlock is a former Division III Men’s Basketball Coach (12 years) in New England.  His teams reached the New England NAIA Final Four five times and he coached two Division III All-American players.  Bob lectured and developed programming at the International Basketball Academy in Europe for three summers and was a summer basketball camp director for eight years.  In 2000 he became the Athletic Director of Sacred Heart Academy in Mt Pleasant, MI.  Bob also played four years of college basketball at the University of Cincinnati.

Bob is a dynamic teacher and he has been training athletes of all levels for over twenty years.  He has the ability to break down and assess each athlete’s strengths and weaknesses.  Bob’s training philosophy is to enable athletes to become better basketball players by developing and improving basketball skill.  His approach allows athletes to build confidence and improve their level of play and he is dedicated to helping each of the athletes working with him to achieve a level of success.

Bob is available to work individually or in small groups with boys and girls of all levels.  He is also available to present programs to groups regarding the college recruiting process, personal responsibility, athletic and business coaching, and motivation.

 

Dan Nealy – Basketball

Dan runs and coaches the boys CBC program. Dan has been working with Championship Sport staff during skill sessions, camps and clinics since January 2010. He has had head coaching experience at the High School level. Dan has also worked a community college program and was the head of the Grass Lake High School strength and conditioning program. Dan has a great ability to build relationships with his athletes and turn their weaknesses into strengths. Dan really enjoys the challenge of working with players at any position.

Randy Gallagher- Volleyball

Randy has been coaching volleyball for over eleven years.  He started coaching AAU volleyball, where his teams reached the finals in two of those three years.  From 2000-2002 he was the head JV Coach for Mt. Pleasant High School, where his team went a 94-20 and 45-0 in his last season respectively.  In 2003 Randy was promoted to Varsity Coach at Mt. Pleasant High School.  In three years as Varsity Coach, his teams compiled an impressive 152-28-5 record with two league titles.  After taking a year off Randy accepted the varsity coaching job at Beal City where he is still active.  During his three years at Beal City his teams have compiled a 155-48-9 record with four straight District Titles and two League Championships. In 2009 he led Beal City to the State Semifinal. Randy has had the pleasure of coaching 7 All State players, 13 All Region players and 13 Morning Sun Dream Team players.  Randy has twice been named Coach of the Year in the MMC and Coach of the Year from the Morning Sun twice as well.


 

Emma is a Senior at Central Michigan University where she is studying to be a High School teacher. She graduated from Beal City High School in 2007 where she was a starter on the varsity volleyball team for 4 years. In her playing career Emma won 4 District titles, 2 Regional titles, and 1 Highland Conference Championship. She was voted team captain for 3 years. Emma has also earned All-Highland Conference status twice, Morning Sun 1st Team All Area, and was voted the Morning Sun Dream Team setter her Senior Year.

Emma has been involved in coaching for 3 years. She began as an assistant Varsity coach to Randy Gallagher at Beal City. Currently, Emma has completed two winning seasons as JV Volleyball Coach at Beal City. She looks forward to working with you and sharing her love and passion for the game with you.
